SUCCESSFUL SUCCESSION OF THE PRIVATELY HELD BUSINESS AND WEALTH

presented by

Susan P. Rounds, JD, CPA, LL.M., AEP

DESCRIPTION:

All privately-held businesses will transition at some point, either by design or by default.  This presentation will identify the key drivers that underlie the business dynamics and the family dynamics, and then illustrate a three-pronged approach to designing an integrated business succession plan that aligns the goals and objectives of the business and the family.
We will discuss some of the current changes in the tax law, and strategic opportunities and pre-transaction planning steps to consider in order to optimize the chosen path.
